Getting Around Kenya
In Nairobi, we usually use trusted taxi services rather than renting a vehicle or trying to navigate the city on our own. Visitors should plan for airport transportation, local travel around Nairobi, and the longer trip from Nairobi to the Amani School area in southwestern Kenya. We can help visitors understand the usual transportation options as they plan their trip.
Traveling from Nairobi to Amani School
When we are ready to leave Nairobi and travel toward Riosiri, where our Kenyan headquarters and Amani School are located, we usually use public bus service. The company we most often use is Easy Coach, which travels between Nairobi and Rongo. From Rongo, local transportation is used for the remaining trip to the school area. Bus schedules, travel times, and fares can change, so visitors should confirm current details before traveling. You can visit the Easy Coach website by clicking here.

Visitors should talk with us before making final transportation plans so we can help explain the usual travel route, current options, and what to expect when traveling from Nairobi to the Amani School area.
